  • Christopher Low, MD

    Christopher Low, MD is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with over ten years of surgical experience. As co-founder of CRS Plastic Surgery, he is a leading expert in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Low’s dedication to his profession is reflected in his outstanding care of his patients as well as keeping up with the latest medical advances. His compassionate and transparent demeanor instills trust between him and his patients. His top priority is to establish a relationship with his patients where open communication is paramount to ensure they feel comfortable discussing any questions and/or concerns regarding their surgical procedures. Dr. Low was born and raised in New Jersey and attended New Jersey Medical School University of Medicine and Dentistry. He excelled throughout medical school, graduated in the top 5% of his class, and was elected to the prominent AOA Honor Society. After medical school, Dr. Low went on to complete five years of general surgery training at University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was elected Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Low has a special interest in breast cancer reconstruction, and after his plastic surgery residency, he completed an additional microsurgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Dr. Low provides a broad range of breast cancer reconstruction options including implant-based reconstruction as well as highly specialized microvascular techniques such as DIEP, TRAM, SIEA, and TUG flaps. Dr. Low is also actively involved in medical volunteerism, making numerous surgical trips to Haiti with the non-for-profit organization Project Medishare. Recently, he traveled to Haiti where he performed the first documented breast reconstruction. Additionally, Dr. Low has a special interest in treating breast cancer patients suffering from lymphedema. He spent time in Paris working under the direction of Dr. Corinne Becker, the pioneer in vascularized lymph node transplants.   • Michael C. Cheung, MD

    Dr. Michael C. Cheung is board certified by both The American Board of Surgery and by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a South Florida native and is proud to be part of the medical community in the area he has called home since his childhood. He recognizes the delicate balance between the science of medicine and the art of patient care, and truly believes it is a privilege to take care of patients. Dr. Cheung is committed to building relationships with his patients based on trust and communication while keeping the patient’s health and well being his utmost priority. After completing high school in South Florida, Dr. Cheung received his undergraduate degree from Emory University. He returned home to earn his medical degree from the University of Miami. He then remained at the University of Miami where he completed the five-year general surgery training program and a two-year research fellowship. Dr. Cheung completed his training at Duke University, where he spent three additional years training alongside the country’s leading plastics and reconstructive surgeons. While at the University of Miami and Duke University, Dr. Cheung was honored by being named Chief Resident at both programs. Dr. Cheung has performed extensive clinical research and has authored over 50 manuscripts published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Furthermore, he has written several textbook chapters and has spoken at national meetings about his work. Dr. Cheung has earned the John J. Foman Award, the Robert Zeppa Award, the Georgiade Award, as well as two other awards issued by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Cheung offers a full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. With every patient, Dr. Cheung works to combine his credentials and training along with his compassion and humility to provide each patient with extraordinary results.
